Plot
Bear(Michael Johnston) is a kind but socially awkward music store employee who has secretly, desperately loved his coworker Nikki(Inde Navarrette) for as long as he can remember. But when you work side by side every day with your best friends, Ian and Sarah, Bear can never seem to figure out the line between friendship and whatever comes next.
Bear has gone through a difficult period — including the loss of his precious cat Sandy, who dies accidentally — and he discovers a novelty item at a crystal shop, the One Wish Willow. Break the packaging, it states that one wish can be had per person. Bear, skeptical yet desperate, wishes that Nikki would love him above anything on planet earth. He snaps the toy.
The wish works. In a single day, Nikki’s puppy love for Bear turns into… — but not in the way he assumed. Her love slows to obsessive, clingy and finally dangerously insane.
